Dear Dr.
Hebert:
I am writing
to you to inquire about your acupuncture and acupressure services. I have never
had acupuncture performed on me before, and I hope that my first experience with
the ancient art will help me greatly. I am a very stressed person. I worry about
the smallest things. Did I remember to do my laundry today? Did I put the dogs
out before I left for work? What’s that floating in my soup? These things nag at
me all day until all I want to do is go home and die. Quite frankly, they have
been hindering my performance at work. “Your performance is hindering!” my boss
tells me all the time.
I have heard
from many people that you are one of the best, if not the best, specialist in
your field. I hope to utilize your services to alleviate my stress and worrying.
However, I have a fear of needles. I won’t even go near them. I had to be
strapped down for my last tetanus shot. Does acupuncture hurt? Because you’ll be
sticking needles into me, and it sounds like it’s painful. And I need to know
whether the needles are clean, or if you reuse them right away, because I can’t
be getting another tetanus shot. I won’t go near the doctor’s office – I’d
rather risk infection than get a shot. So I need you to use clean needles,
please.
Thank you,
and I hope to hear from you soon. I will require your services in the near
future.
Sincerely,

Kevin
