Dear Silly Oaks Lodge,
I would like to reserve two rooms for myself and my pet starfish (Herbert) from September 20, 2006 until September 24, 2006. Room quality is unimportant to Herbert. However, I do request that you reserve your highest quality suite for me. One of my hobbies is Basking in Elegance. The other is riding in those little red wagons that say “Radio Flyer” on the side. Up and down the street I go!
Herbert and I are not exactly getting along right now. He won’t even talk to me! I ask him things like, how was your day Herbert. And all he says is nothing! This is why we require separate rooms. Ah, I remember the days when Herbert could sleep in a small tank on my dresser. Nowadays when he is not ignoring me, he is extremely disruptive. Just the other day Herbert started a worldwide ocean creature revolution to combat the dangers of mankind. This was when I was trying to have a meaningful conversation with him.
Anyway, please let me know what you have available. I’d prefer to have two adjacent rooms, so that I can monitor his behavior (I may drill a small hole in the wall between the rooms so I can peek through. But I WILL repair this hole upon check-out). I look forward to your response.
