Sequoia National Forest

1839 South Newcomb Street

Porterville, CA 93257

To Whom it May Concern:

I am a man who takes on challenges. When I see a business opportunity, I grab hold of it until it screams! Recently my company has acquired a sawmill and lumberyard. I immediately saw this as an opportunity for growth. That is why I would like to relocate said sawmill and lumberyard to the middle of Sequoia National Forest. I can smell a dollar from a mile away!

I believe this will benefit my company so much that we will be able to expand to the entire forest eventually. If an ugly caterpillar can transform into a beautiful butterfly, then a sequoia tree can most certainly transform into a beautiful rocking chair (or dinette set, depending on consumer demand). Perhaps we could reach a mutual agreement; my company could use its sawmill to turn your sequoia trees into benches for your sequoia tree park (while it lasts). Let’s make a deal!

I wanted to know when it would be convenient for us to move our sawmill and lumberyard to the middle of Sequoia National Park. Since it is your park after all, I am willing to let you choose the date (so long as it falls between Oct. 1 and Oct. 5). Please let me know.

Sincerely,

Kevin Dickinson
