Dear
Calypso Cards,
My
friend Petunia recommended a visit to your website. She is always doing
things like that. “I recommend a spoonful of sugar for your tulips,” she
might say. Or “I recommend counting the gum on the sidewalk.”
Well,
as I always do, I followed her advice and I sure was astounded! Never
before had I laid my virgin eyes on such greeting card masterpieces.
Seriously, good stuff.
But
where, might I ask, are your Independence Day for Cats cards? I
couldn’t find them anywhere. Why not? It’s an important holiday. On July
4, 1776, America was officially liberated from its mother country, Great
Britain/England/the UK/Whatever. Men and women were free from the bonds
of taxation without representation, whatever that means.
But
what about the cats? There were cats in America on July 4, 1776. They
were liberated too. No one celebrates their independence. Oh,
sure, you cats just stay at home while we go watch a spectacular Fourth
of July fireworks spectacular to celebrate our crapload of freedom!
Here’s some catnip.
That
is what most people say to their cats on July 4 at 5pm. Catnip? Such
injustice was never served colder. How about, COME CELEBRATE OUR
INDEPENDENCE WITH US CAT!!!
Every
other leading card manufacturer has Independence Day for Cats
cards. Where are yours? I think you’re discriminating against our fellow
independent feline friends. Show some respect and get them in print!
Sincerely,

Kevin
